Tembe Bavuma led South Africa to the ICC World Test Championship title win by beating Australia in the final at Lord's. He became the first South African skipper to win a major ICC title since 1998.

Bavuma led by example and scored crucial 66 runs with the bat in the second innings despite struggling with a hamstring injury. In the process, he added a 147-run stand with Aiden Markram who scored 136 runs himself to help South Africa win the title.

South Africa finally had their moment in 2025 after coming close to winning previous ICC titles in the past. The unassuming figure of Temba Bavuma finally, broke the deadlock for South Africa who won a major ICC title after almost an eternity.

Meanwhile, the ICC decided to honour the South African skipper with a post on their official Twitter handle. They shared a video of the players celebrating their recent win all their swag and style led by Temba Bavuma himself.

The players were seen grooving to a song named "Attitude". Fans have loved Bavuma's expression and they way the video covers all the South African players with their style quotient on.

Temba Bavuma Eyes T20 WOrld Cup, ODI World Cup After WTC Glory

Meanwhile, Temba Bavuma, the visionary that he is does not want the celebrations to stop as he wants to win the T20 World Cup next India in India and follow it up with the big ODI World Cup win at home in 2027.

"I think it will be massive. I mean, that tournament, we are definitely setting our sights on doing special things in that tournament," Bavuma said as quoted by ICC.
"There is still a way to go until then. Shukri (Conrad) obviously comes in now as the white-ball coach, so we will see what plans that he has, who his personnel will be. But yeah, hopefully this is the start of those trophies for the team," he added.
