Social media could not keep calm as the news of Arjun Tendulkar being engaged was trending all over late on Wednesday, August 13. The son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun got engaged to Saaniya Chandok in the presence of close family & friends. However, there has not been any official confirmation from the former India cricketer, his son, nor from the Ghai family.
Notably, Saaniya is the granddaughter of famous Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai, Chairman of Gravies Group, the parent company behind prominent ice cream companies like The Brooklyn Creamery, & Baskin Robbins. Saaniya is also of the main partners and Director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, based Mumbai.

For the unversed, the Ghai family is noteworthy name in the hospitality and food sector, not only expanding their chains in India but abroad as well, with prominent ventures like the Inter Continental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery. It also hosted this beautiful & intimate ceremony of Arjun & Sanniya's engagement party, as reported by India Today.
Social media erupts after Arjun gets hitched with Saaniya Chandok
Following news of Arjun & Saaniya's engagement, social media started to post pictures of the two & congratulated them with a flurry of good wishes. Apart from the duo's picture, another photo also created quite a buzz - a photo of Sara, alongside his brother & Saaniya. The picture showcased both the ladies in a traditional attire.
Speaking about Arjun, he is currently gearing up for the upcoming 2025/26 domestic season. The left-arm pacer represents Goa in domestic cricket. He also features in IPL for MI. The youngster made his switch from Mumbai to Goa to get more opportunities. He made his Goa debut in 2022/23 season, where he played First-class and List A matches.
In red-ball cricket, Arjun has so far played 17 matches, scoring 532 runs - which includes a ton and two fifties. He has taken 37 wickets, which included one five-wicket haul and two four-wicket hauls. In List A games for Goa, he has featured in 17 games, scoring 76 runs. In IPL he has played just five games for MI over the three seasons.
