Virat Kohli was recently spotted paying a visit to the Wimbledon along with his wife Anushka Sharma. It was one of his first public appearances since winning the IPL with Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
A few English cricketers like Joe Root and James Anderson, amongst others also went to witness the match between Novak Djokovic and Australia’s Alex de Minaur on Monday. It was a Round of 16 match that was won by Djokovic.
Meanwhile, Avneet Kaur was also present at the Wimbledon as was Kohli and Anushka. Pictures of Kohli and Avneet started making the rounds on social media and as soon as the fans came to know they could not believe it. After the match, Kohli took to Instagram, praising Djokovic with a caption:
“What a match. It was business as usual for the gladiator.”

Fans React To Avneet Kaur's Wimbledon Appearance
Virat Kohli had a very pale look at the Wimbledon and fans are now connecting Avneet Kaur's appearance as the reason behind it. Twitterverse wasted no time in finding the connection and roasted Avneet in the process.

Recently, Kohli found himself in the middle of a huge controversy after liking a picture of the actress. Both Kohli and Avneet were criticised on social media. However, the former Indian skipper clarified that it was an algorithm glitch.

Virat Kohli Lauds India's Win At Edgbaston
Kohli retired from Test cricket in June before the Test series against England and is currently spending a vacation in England. He congratulated the Indian team after their victory at Edgbaston last week.
"Great victory for India at Edgbaston. Fearless and kept pushing England to the wall. Brilliantly led by Shubhman with the bat and in the field and impactful performances from everyone. Special mention to Siraj and Akash for the way they bowled on this pitch" he posted on Twitter.
