Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) broke their 18-year trophy jinx. The side lifted their maiden trophy after winning IPL 2025 by beating Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the finals in Ahmedabad on 3rd July.
However, tragedy has befallen amidst the celebrations. The team was supposed to hold a public parade, which was later cancelled due to traffic congestion on the roads. However, reports claim that chaos and stampede have claimed multiple lives outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

RCB Victory Parade Turns to Horror
Loyal RCB fans were keen on being a part of the victory parade as their beloved franchise lifted the silverware for the very first time in 18 years. But things have taken an ugly turn. Fans gathered outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in numbers to cheer and show their support for the team.
But the event turned into utter chaos. Reports claim that there was no proper planning and management from the authorities. Videos went viral on social media about young children falling sick and passing out from the heat.

RCB Celebrations Cut Short
First, RCB decided to cancel their open bus victory parade. But that was not enough, as tragedy still befell. Reports claimed that the majority of the crowd outside the Stadium gathered around to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars and were without tickets.
The team had a quick celebration with captain Rajat Patidar thanking the fans for the relentless support. But as things took a wrong turn after the stampede occurred. As per the latest reports, as many have 11 people have reportedly lost their lives.
