After missing out in the first innings of the practice match against England Lions, Yashasvi Jaiswal made amends in the second innings by scoring (64) runs which came off just 60 balls. As always, the southpaw batted aggressively and put the pressure back on the bowlers. His positive innings ensured India quickly wiped out the lead that England Lions got in the first innings. Day four started with India A needing just two wickets to wipe out the England Lions batting lineup. However, a late fightback ensured the hosts secured a slender 30-run lead. Mukesh Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors as he ended up taking three wickets in his 25 overs. Anshul Kamboj and Harshit Rana also managed to bowl well in their first tour of England.
